Makayla's teachers are really focusing on getting the students ready to start kindergarten in the fall. As a result, Makayla writes her ABC's on any scrap of paper whenever she gets the chance. She yells out letters that she sees on signs as we are driving down the road. She also informs me that Uncle Sam starts with "S" and Daddy starts with "K." (Okay so daddy doesn't start with k, but her daddy's name does. So she's mostly right.)
Another thing that I'm so excited to see is when Makayla actually spells words. But here's a question: Is it bad of me to laugh when she spells swear words and doesn't know it?
