My girls share a room out of necessity. That's what happens when you live in a 2-bedroom apartment with three children. They have to share.
But you know what? I think even if we did have more space I would still want them to share a room. There's just something about listening to your little girls giggle themselves to sleep that is priceless. And I would never want to take that away from them.
I know they probably won't remember it at this age, but I hope that they each have a whole childhood filled with memories of giggling themselves to sleep. And playing Barbies together. And dressing up in their best dress-ups for their all-important tea parties. And doing each other's hair and make-up. And staying up late to help each other with homework or to talk about boys.
I grew up with sisters and understand just how awesome all of those things are. I am so grateful that my girls get to grow up as sisters. Sisters are the BEST!!

When you have that type of girl, run with it! Our 2 oldest shared a room and they did nothing but fight! Getting out of their beds to bite one another, or steal the others blankets. It was when Halle was too frightened to go to sleep for fear of what Payton might do to her that they got their own rooms :)
It's like Harry Potter says at the end of Deathly Hallows, "You two will share a room when we want the house blown up" AMEN
Sounds fun...makes me excited for when my girls are older :).
Sounds like you decided to let them giggle. :) Good for you!
Thats what i love about boys too!! They are each others best friends!!
Sounds like things are looking up for you. I think about you all the time!
I love the picture and the story from last post. So funny.
Wait...they don't get in trouble for laughing when they're supposed to be sleeping?! Is that ok?? haha
Let me know your insight!
It was Ellie and Kimberly laughing and they only did it for 10 minutes. I let it go because it was the first time it has EVER happened and I thought it was absolutely adorable. The next night, I warned Ellie not to make Kimberly laugh when she needed to be sleeping.
