New Summer Do

Makayla's hair has been driving me crazy for a while. It's so fine and breaks so easily. So today I took her to get it cut. I think the short cut is pretty cute on her, but the lady did a horrible job. The back is all jagged and uneven with the front. I'm pretty sure I could have done a better job myself, and I would have saved myself $10. I'm debating whether to go to a nicer salon and pay another $15 or $20 to get it fixed or wait a month and even it out myself. Or just maybe, my sister will take pity on Makayla's poor hair and fix it for her when we see her next week. (Katie are you reading this? wink, wink)

I love it! You should get it stacked in the back. That way you really wouldn't lose much length, but fix the jagged part. My friend did that to her daughters hair and it's so dang cute!
I'm impressed you cut it since you waited sooo long for that girl to get hair! It's so cute!

She looks adorable. I agree with the stacked comment, one of my friends here has her little girl's like that and it is so so cute. See you soon.

I love the stacked hair cut, too. But since I had that hair cut once myself, I know how much work it is to make it look good.

Plus, I feel really bad that Makayla keeps asking to go back to the store to get her 'other hair.' I don't think I could cut it anymore.

I'm sure we can work something out. You have my phone number---I just need a day or two notice please. Just ask her if she remembers how cute she looked after the last couple times I cut her hair. ;) That could be your way of....dare I say "tricking"... her into getting the haircut you really wanted.

I have a friend who's daughter reminds me of Makayla! Probably around the same age too!
