Taking Suggestions

On Monday my doctor gave me the okay to travel to Kasey's parents' house for Thanksgiving. That means I'll be spending approximately 30 hours in a car next week.

Anyone read a good book lately? I'm almost done with mine and need one for the drive. Thanks!

I have 3 good books I would suggest:
I am a Mother by Jane Clayson Johnson
Better Than You Think You Are by Ardeth G. Kapp

Have you read the Prelude to Glory series it is an historical fiction about the revolutionary war and is 9 books long but I really liked it, then again I am a total history buff!

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins...an easy one to LOVE...

I definitely second the City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. The third book in the series comes out in March...so might as well get started with these!

The Princess and the Hound by Mette Ivie Harrison...although I haven't read it yet...

Artemis Fowl books by Eoin Colfer.

Reread Twilight Saga.

Midnighters series by Scott Westerfeld.

There...so many books to choose from. Just don't get sick while reading in the car!

Awww. I'm sorry your library is small. Okay...let's rethink the list....with options that may be available...

Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones.

I'd say maybe try a Gail Carson Levine book, such as Ella Enchanted. Or maybe Fairest, though I haven't read that one.

Gregor the Overlander by Suzanne Collins. Yes try this one. It's good too...a children's series.

You can try The City of Ember...though I haven't read it...or seen the movie...but it has good ratings on goodreads.

How about The Alchemyst by Michael Scott...haven't read it but want to.

Or The safe-keeper's Secret by Sharon Shinn...haven't read that yet either.

Or a Robin McKinley book, though I wouldn't personally suggest a certain one with a dragon on the cover....but I would like to read The Blue Sword, which has a high rating on goodreads.

Hopefully you find something good for your trip!! Sorry...say the word "book" and I go crazy. lol

this is not helpful for your predicament at all, but since you're talking about books, i'll tell you what's on my list for christmas break. apparently this is not available at the library, so i'll probably have to purchase it. and that's not a bad thing. more books is better than fewer books. until you have to move, and then fewer is better. but anyway, the title: "dating makes you want to die (but you have to do it anyway)" i think it's an appropriate read for me. don't you?
